Cannot select intel driver in display applet

Bug Description

I installed gutsy tribe-5. I was expecting ubuntu to automatically choose the intel xorg driver for my Intel G965 chipset, but according to the new display/screen applet I was using the (old) i810 driver. When I select the intel driver (driver by name), restart X (ctrl-alt-backspace) and go back to the display applet, it still has the i810 driver.

could you please attach your xorg.conf before and after changing the settings.

furthermore the file pcitable.txt would be interesting: you can create it by running "displayconfig-gtk -w pictable.txt"

thanks
