Manta on recent images doesn't wake correctly from suspend

Bug Description
STEPS:
1. Install a recent image on manta
2. Unplug it from the usb lead
3. Tap the power button to let it sleep
4. Tap the power button to wake it
5. Plug in the usb lead again
6. Tap the power again (until the welcome screen appears)
7. Unplug the usb lead
8. Wait for the device to sleep
9. Count to 5
10. Tap the power button to wake it
Instead of being delievered to the welcome screen you are instead seeing a flash of grey and then black
On pluggin in the usb lead it then wakes to the welcome screen as expected.
This may also affect the nexus5 which has the same gfx chip
