Bug Description

I was trying to install php5-xdebug on my ubuntu machine. but it was giving me following error.

dpkg: error processing php5-dev (--configure):
 dependency problems - leaving unconfigured

You broke your system somehow, starting with:

Start-Date: 2014-06-08 13:08:10
Commandline: apt-get -f install
Error: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

This should not happen unless you have accidentally deleted couple of directories...

debconf: DbDriver "config": mkdir :No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing man-db (--configure):
 subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

I am reassigning this bug to debconf, that's as closest you can get to the error message in the logs.
