Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v3.15 kernel[0].

If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag: 'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.

If you are unable to test the mainline kernel, for example it will not boot, please add the tag: 'kernel-unable-to-test-upstream'.
Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as "Confirmed".

Thanks in advance.

I downloaded :
linux-headers-3.15.0-031500_3.15.0-031500.201406131105_all.deb
linux-headers-3.15.0-031500-generic_3.15.0-031500.201406131105_amd64.deb
linux-image-3.15.0-031500-generic_3.15.0-031500.201406131105_amd64.deb

and installed the new kernel with this command :
sudo dpkg -i *.deb

I had some errors in the terminal (see attached file) and the crash reporter opened, and linked me to this existing bug :
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bcmwl/+bug/1307744

I rebooted my computer, and the wifi didn't work (didn't see any network in the list).
uname -a reported that the 3.15 kernel had been installed.

Since I cannot work without the wifi, I cannot really use my laptop and try to reproduce the suspend bug.

Please let me know if I can do anything else to try to reproduce it with another kernel.
