Bug Description
LSB specification for the libraries corresponsing to glibc (libc, libm,
libpthread, etc.) correspond to glibc version 2.4, which is now quite old. As
an uplift target, this part of the specification should be freshened. Glibc
2.11 has been identified as a possible target, based on what various
distributions support today.
Note that an uplift of these libraries would be required to bring in POSIX 2008
support (see bug 3469)
