Bug Description
When you select a previously unselected file, and try to drag it to another window, a box to select multiple files appear (the rubberband), instead of letting you drag the file. If you just click on it, to select it and then drag it, when you release the mouse the file opens up, due to the single-click behaviour.

When you view the files as grid, everything works as expected. possible solution, make list view work the same as grid. add a + and - icon beside the file icon to select and unselect, and start selecting files outside of the area.
