Bug Description
Recently did a fresh install of Kubuntu 14.04. Shutter works but the Session tab shows no thumbnails, just the names of the .png files.
I suspect some dependency is not loaded.

Same under sabayon (14.02, I think, but few updates since, none since installing shutter) with shutter 0.90.1
Bug 1314893 is marked as duplicate, don't know if both problems got the same underlying bug, but sure look like different issues on top of things, but both bugs affect my system.
