Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

Whenever I try to connect to my VPN, with any login credentials, correct or not, NetworkManager crashes and the GNOME NetworkManager Applet hides away.

I have tried deleting and creating the VPN configuration for my account, but this does not fix it.

Hi,

how exactly do you setup your vpn connection? Does network-manager work otherwise?

Thanks,

In answer to your questions:

I set it up by the VPN configuration tool that NM starts when you go to "Configure VPN...".

It seems to work fine otherwise.

The type of VPN is PPTP.

Can anyone confirm that PPTP is working at all?
