Bug Description

Binary package hint: python-numpy

Got error while trying to upgrade python-numpy to new version. I removed both python-numpy and python-numpy-dev and tried to install them from scratch. Got the following result:

dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/python-numpy_1%3a1.0.3-1ubuntu1_i386.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite `/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/numpy/f2py/src/fortranobject.c', which is also in package python-numpy-dev
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/python-numpy_1%3a1.0.3-1ubuntu1_i386.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
