Dreamchess appears twice in game menu

After installing, Dreamchess appears twice in game menu.

What version of Ubuntu are you using and how did you install Dreamchess?

Up-to-date Gutsy, installed through add/remove programs.

It installs two .desktop files: dreamchess.desktop and dreamchess-fullscreen.desktop.

Since it install one for fullscreen and one for a smaller screen I will mark this bug invalid.

I reopened it as it shouldn't do that. It should be easy from within the application to switch to fullscreen, it shouldn't fill up the menus with extra icons for that.

You can't switch from the desktop screen to fullscreen and vice-versa in the application, I already checked.

Yes, I tried that too... but then that is a bug in dreamchess that should not be solved by adding a second menu icon (especially when it has the same title).

The second menu item can be removed: alt + enter switching between windowed mode and fullscreen.
