rhythmbox crashes when playing flac files

The rhythmbox always crashes when trying to play flac files. I exported the songs from a CD to this format. VLC and Totem can play the songs.

I had to kill the process rhythmbox after the crash. Sometimes, when I try to quit the program, my laptop hangs.

@Edney: version 3.0.2 of rhythmobx is now in Trusty repository. Does it solve the issue?

Upstream report closed "RESOLVED FIXED" on 2013-11-27
So probably fixed for some time in Ubuntu
Sample .flac file found on web plays fine in rhythmbox 3.4.3
