Bug Description
using 14.04 trusty, the aptitude install or remove package tries to upgrade from libc6 2.18 to libc6 2.19 but when is upgrading, it crashes the computer (freezes without no mouse, no consoles, nothing). I turn off power and on to restart the computer. Then i try to run dpkg --configure -a but it keeps freezing and does not appear to have a solution on this.

Sometime it appears in the screen the terminal and shows a kernel panic saying: attempt to stop init!
