CompizConfig Settings Manager crashed on first use.

Newly installed Ubuntu 7.10 AMD-64, Tribe 3. Installed Compiz Fusion. Started CompizConfig Settings Manager. I then recieved an error Report. Intel P4, 768MB.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 beta or later?

Confirming based on the above comment, and the duplicate report.

Upgrading to python-support 0.8.7ubuntu2 fixed this for me.

Do other users still experience this issue with up-to-date Jaunty?

I can confirm that there is no crash with ccsm on the first start being on jaunty. Closng this.
