Bug Description

This is blocked on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/viennacl/+bug/1282244

It would be great for numerical scientists to get this in the LTS!

Packaging sources at http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=debian-science/packages/pyviennacl.git;a=tree;h=refs/tags/debian/1.0.0-1;hb=refs/tags/debian/1.0.0-1

Package will shortly be ready..

dsc is at https://launchpad.net/~tsmithe/+archive/pyviennacl/+files/pyviennacl_1.0.0-0ubuntu2.dsc -- I think I chose a rather stupid version number (especially as I made an error with -0ubuntu1).

Also since it is now almost the 20th and this is clearly not in the archive, would I be best to get the package into Debian unstable ASAP (I have a package on mentors awaiting sponsorship), and then request a sync? Is that likely to be accepted?

Toby: Did you manage to get the package into Debian? I am not a member of Release Team, but I can say that they usually accept sync requests for new packages.

In any case, you need a FFe (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FreezeExceptionProcess), so I am unsubscribing sponsors for now.

Not yet -- but hopefully in the next couple of days. I'm just waiting on
some tests before having it uploaded!

Great, I'll get on that.

Cheers,
