Update to 2.10.9

Thanks for the work, could you add a debdiff of the packaging only and a link to the upstream tarball?

Note that this version has some issues and upstream rolled out a 2.10.9 with that note,
"Pidgin 2.10.9 fixes logins to some XMPP servers. Please upgrade! "

We should go directly for that version (Debian did the 2.10.8 update btw, do you know if they plan to add the python3 support?)

Thanks, the debdiff in the current comment fails to apply though, patch says it's incorrectly formatted ... does it work for you?

Did you try to apply it using patch? I downloaded it again and it doesn't work for me...
