plz help this bug keeps crashing my app bar where the time and battery status is and it also doesnt show my wifi connection anymore even tho i am conencted the icon is missing i have tried everything and cant get it to work i am runing on a dell inspiron 3250 laptop 4 gb ram 2.4 ghz dual core cpu

I was able to fix it by following the instruction 'sudo apt-get install -f' from the terminal (crtl+Alt+T).

The latestupgrade apply without issue now. Can set that report as "fixed". (only let it opened to grad the incoming dupes, then it will be closed as "fixed")

If we don't enable 'proposed', how will it help the developers? It's not as if we users expect pre-released distributions to be flawless.

Testing development release is already helpful. Proposed only exists for
some automated checks. If the package doesn't have obvious bugs, it
automatically migrates to -release.

Makes sense - I have disabled Proposed in all my partitions and everything seems to be working well in four flavours of Ubuntu Trusty.
