Bug Description
Binary package hint: udev
I just did an expert install on LVM with the current tribe-3 amd64/alternate candiate (20070718). Booting works well, but /home is not mounted becuase /dev/disk/by-uuid does not exist.
I'll keep the vmware image around for a bit for further debugging.

I just did a similar installation which behaved the same: I created a VG "Ubuntu" on one PV (/dev/sda1) with three LVs: swap (256 MB), root (4 GB) on / and home (2 GB) on /home.
