Bug Description
Please consider adding libopenwsman1 to main
Rationale - openwsman is an open-source implementation of the Web-Services Management spec (WS-Management). It's job is to expose systems management information on Linux using the WS-Management protocol.
libopenwsman1 is also a dependency for the wsmancli tool that I also have a request filed for:
https:/
wsman is used extensively on Dell PowerEdge hardware and provides a way to interface out-of-band with Dell's integrated remote access controller (iDRAC).
Security - There were three CVE's filed against openwsman in 2008 and none since:
http://
I'm not sure if openwsman was part of Ubuntu universe at the time these were filed. VMWare and SuSE were supporting the package and applied fixes accordingly.
QA - Package is maintained upstream on sourceforge and there is an active developer forum. The latest stable release was pushed out in November of 2012 and we have added it to Universe:

http://
No exotic hardware is involved with these tools.
Also need to pull in libopenwsman1-devel and libcimcclient0 as these are package dependencies currently in universe

Tests are disabled. Can someone comment on why? The changelog just says "Testcases fail." Disabling tests seems like a suboptimal solution to that problem without more information.
