"maas key" field should be longer

This is a subjective point, but the "maas key" field of the user prefs page should be longer, in order to show the full key all the time.

While testing, it happened to me several times to cut/paste only the visible portion of the key because of how my browser's mouse selection works (firefox). Having a field lenght that shows the entire key every time would prevent this from happening.

It's a small thing but is very annoying to me.

I did fiddle around with the CSS and the template a little, and the attached patch shows something that I think would be more user-friendly. I'm not sure if it could be merged in as is, hece the patch format.

I'm marking this low, but I think it's worth fixing this cycle. That CSS patch could be a first step (I haven't checked how it integrates with the general design yet), but if we want to fix this properly I think we ought to add a tiny "Copy to clipboard" button.

Yes, I would also consider it a low priority thing, definitely.

I don't think this has been fixed. It might be longer but it doesn't show the whole key. It might be better as a text field instead of just and input.

Does for me too (in FF 37.0.1).

If we can make it a field that adjusts its height to the number of lines of text to display, that would be a classy solution that works on smaller screens as well.

Okay. Going to mark it fixed. Might do that for smaller screens but that is a different bug.
