  • lspci.txt Edit (2.0 KiB, text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; name="lspci.txt")
  • dmidecode.txt Edit (13.4 KiB, text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; name="dmidecode.txt")

Hello and thank you for your interest,
What do I do exactly:
I log in with user no.1, work a little and then log out.
Then user no.2 comes along, logs in with her user, works a little and then
logs out again.
I then return to my laptop and attempt login with my user no.1. This fails
and after the login screen I get a black screen with command cursor
blinking forever in eternity in the top left corner.
Please find attached dmidecode and lspci output

Regards

Jan Formanek

Could be a duplicate of bug #1256150 which was fixed in trusty (though similar issues came back since it seems)

affects: indicator-session (Ubuntu) → lightdm (Ubuntu)
