Bug Description

On Ubuntu 12.04 with xfce after updating Cairo-Dock to 3.3.1 the following problem appears:

I start an application by double-clicking a file in a file manager. If I close the application, the application - i.e. libreoffice writer - is still marked as active in cairo-dock. So if I want to start the same application again by cairo-dock, it doesn't work, because cairo-dock thinks the application is opened already. So I have to start the application with right-click->open new instance, which is annoying. In cairo-dock 3.2.1 this problem wasn't there.

Thank you for your help

Hi,
thank you for reporting this problem.
could you please provide more details ?
like the configuration of the Taskbar module (in the advanced configuration
of cairo-dock, you can provide a screenshot), which applications are
concerned, do you have this problem with the default theme (cairo-dock -d
~/test), does it happen if the application has a launcher in the dock (and
if it doesn't).
Thank you !

Hi,

you can find a screenshot of the configuration of the taskbar module in the attachement. Libre Office writer, calc and impress are concerned. I use the default theme. The concerned applications have launchers in the dock.

Hi,

only LO-applications are concerned. Other applications like gimp, xmind... are not affected.

Hi,
I'm not able to reproduce the problem here.
could you please provide the debug outputs ?

cairo-dock -l debug > log.txt

then reproduce the problem, and then post the content of log.txt
thank you !

PS: if you remove the LO launcher, then open a document (a new icon should appear) then close it, does the icon disappear ?

Hi,

there's an attachement with the log.txt-file.

I removed the launcher of LO-writer. Then I opened a document by double-clicking in nautilus. A new LO-writer-icon appears and disappears after closing.

Thank you for your help
