display of update size is hard-coded to incorrectly use "Mb" for a base-2 number of bytes

Bug Description
since we're taking nBytes and dividing by 1024^2, we should use MiB instead of Mb.
also, perhaps we should use KiB when the size is less than 1 MiB.
