Computer suspends when lid is closed, but it shouldn't.

Bug Description

I use Lubuntu 13.10 Beta.
Package: xfce4-power-manager
In preferences>power manager>on ac>when laptop lid is closed>NOTHING
   With this configured, computer should go on normally when lid is closed.
However, when I close the lid, computer suspends.

This is due to an upstream GNOME change. See GNOME bug 687277 for the rationale for this change.

Workaround:
Edit /etc/systemd/logind.conf and set HandleLidSwitch=lock to lock the screen on lid close (but not suspend), or HandleLidSwitch=ignore to not even lock the screen.
