blender and firefox together send graphics crazy?

What do you mean with «leave 'shadows'»? If you could post a screenshot that would be great.

 Sorry, about my description. What I meant was that when Blender was on
and I also had Firefox on. IF Firefox window was smaller and I tried to
move it the firefox window seemed to repeat itself in the 'wake' of the
movement,like a deck of cards. I have decreased the screen resolution
and this seems to have fixed the problem. So I assumed that my graphic
card hard difficulty with running Blender and firefox at the same time
at the resolution I had.

Yes, then it's probably because your graphic card hasn't enough power for that, as you said.

It also nice for me to see that you (a human) actually respond and not what
I think was my expectation, that my 'report' would be answered by a
'machine' and would disappear into the bottomless pit of some electronic
system
