Bug Description

Since ๐”๐›๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ฎ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ.๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ’๐‹๐“๐’ "Precise Pangolin", hibernate is disabled by default. This was done coz most hardware lack proper support for hibernate/support under Ubuntu. See https://help.ubuntu.com/14.04/ubuntu-help/power-suspendfail.html . However, many users have machines where hibernate works and so wishes to enable it. But, there's no simple graphical method for re-enabling hibernate. Experienced users can follow this for ๐”๐›๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ฎ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’.๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ’๐‹๐“๐’ and up: https://help.ubuntu.com/14.04/ubuntu-help/power-hibernate.html and for ๐”๐›๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ฎ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ.๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ’๐‹๐“๐’: https://help.ubuntu.com/12.04/ubuntu-help/power-hibernate.html

I request ๐”๐›๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ฎ ๐“๐ฐ๐ž๐š๐ค include an option to enable Hibernate, so that normal users may easily access Suspend and Hibernate options from the system indicator menu on Ubuntu panel. I believe this is similar to the feature request to add/remove options to sessions menu (bug #960612), but I couldn't find such a setting in the current version v8.8 of ๐”๐›๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ฎ ๐“๐ฐ๐ž๐š๐ค on ๐”๐›๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ฎ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’.๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ’๐‹๐“๐’.

Originally this bug report had a request for including an option to disable Unity's Global Menu too. However, Unity 7 on ๐”๐›๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ฎ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’.๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ’๐‹๐“๐’ "Trusty Tahr" introduced an option to choose between global menu and LIM. See http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2014/02/locally-integrated-menus-ubuntu-14-04 So, I dropped the "Add option to disable Global Menu" part of this bug report โ˜บ
