Bug Description

CID: 201304-13210 Dell Inspiron 3437

The wireless key does not work on this system.

Steps:
1. Boot to Desktop
2. Press the Wireless key (Fn+F2)

Expected result:
1. Wireless connection should be brought down/up by the wireless key.

Actual result:
1. Nothing happened
2. rfkill list result didn't change after the wireless key was pressed.

From the "sudo showkey -k" command, keycode 240 was captured everytime when the wireless key was pressed / relesased.
However, its functionality seems not working.

Verified with 3.8.0-30 and the latest mainline kernel 3.12rc1.
This problem still exist.

Po-Hsu Lin, as per http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/inspiron-14-3437 an update is available for your BIOS (A05). If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BiosUpdate , does it change anything? If it doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date
