Mediascanner crashes when files get removed during scanning

Bug Description

Mediascanner crashes during some automated tests, probably because some files get removed or changed during scanning. Core dump is partially corrupted, but last frames show:

Note there is a related bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/mediascanner/+bug/1221984, only the crash happens on newly added files.
