Does it look anything like the cursor in bug 1211060?

Looks same, but if I try making screenshot, I lost cursor on image.

I see the same effect when dragging the map in Google Maps. It seems like a stale image buffer is being used to fill in the area around the cursor - if I browse the map in Satellite view, then switch to Map view, then drag the map, I can see Satellite imagery and multiple dragging-hand cursors in the area around my actual cursor.

I'm using XMir with nouveau on a GT330M.

This bug is assigned to XMir because we believe it will be solved/avoided when XMir can use the hardware cursor (like it does outside of Mir).

However it seems the root cause of the problem is a buggy X software cursor. Not sure, but is that DDX-specific?

shkiper325,

Are you using an NVIDIA or ATI GPU by any chance?

We'll see it when ubuntu should use native mir. Thanks for activity!
