Driver Updates not being installed

Bug Description

Binary package hint: casper

When using a properly formatted driver update CD, along with a valid debian package, the
included driver is never installed onto the live image (casper), nor are installed (ubiquity).
This bug is in two places..

ubiquity-hooks/40install_driver_updates
scripts/casper-bottom/40install_driver_updates

Excerpt from casper.log:
Begin: Installing driver updates... ...
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/driver-updates//root/var/cache/driver-updates/tg3_i386.deb (--install):
 cannot access archive: No such file or directory
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/cache/driver-updates//root/var/cache/driver-updates/tg3_i386.deb
dpkg - warning: ignoring request to remove /root/var/cache/driver-updates/tg3 which isn't installed.
Done.
mount: Mounting /cdrom on /root/cdrom failed: Invalid argument
Using CD-ROM mount point /cdrom/

cjwatson submitted a patch to fix this bug, and I personally tested it as good for the casper system loading it.

I have NOT tested it with ubiquity yet, however (I have not installed yet).

The attached patch is cjwatson's work.

I have confirmed that cjwatson's patch works with Ubiquity as well as Casper. Expect this upstream.

  * Fix Maintainer field (ubuntu-devel-discuss, not ubuntu-devel).
  * Remember to strip directories from paths when dealing with driver update
    .debs (LP: #120217).
