Bug Description

Good day,
can you please help me with the installation problem? I bought the game through the Ubuntu Software Center, but the game rejects to install:

$ sudo apt-get install dearesther
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
dearesther : Depends: python:all (>= 2.7) but it is not installable
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

Can you please help me with resolving the issue? I installed the missing apt-xapian-index package, but the installation problem persists.
Thank you,
Kind regards,
Martin

Bunch of questions for you.

1. Can you run dpkg -l | grep python2.7 and paste that output to this bug.
2. Can you run sudo apt-get install python:all and paste that output to this bug.
3. If sudo apt-get install python:all says it can't install because it depends on x please try and install x and give us that feedback too.

Many Thanks

Martin Sorry for the delay.

This seems to install fine for me on precise, quantal and raring. I can't understand why it isn't for you. I'll pass this onto the team to have a look at and also support. It might be that one of them can see something obvious.

Thank you for your time. It's weird - dearesther rejects to install on all three of my computers. I tried to install it via aptitude and got a different error message - perhaps the message might be more helpful.

python:all depends on python2.7 (2 2.7.4-1~) but I have 2.7.4-2ubuntu3
installed - perhaps this is the broken link?
