openshot 1.4.3, repeated crashes during preview, ubuntu 13.04

Openshot 1.4.3
Installed via Ubuntu software center
Don't know how to identify other info (long time linux user, not a developer)

Openshot crashes while playing preview. Making edits, then previewing the results causes a crash 50% of the time. seems more common when I move clips on the timeline rather than changing clip proprties.

Was more stable under ubuntu 12.10. Upgrading to 13.04 makes openshot basically unusable.

Hi Paul,

Could you run Openshot in a console, reproduce operations that you have
done until the crash and copy/paste here the output from the terminal.
Thanks.

Could you be able to run Openshot with gdb ? It could be more useful that
the ouptut from the terminal.
