Bug Description

Using "Other" service as an account, users should be able to personalize "outbox" and "trash" folders being used by the server. (Or detect Apple friendly server configurations)

Our company uses Postfix/dovecot in Ubuntu as a server, configured to be "OSX/iOS" mail friendly. This means that the server name for "Sent" is "Sent messages" and for "Trash" is "Deleted messages", right know these folders are not being shown on Geary and there is no way to access to its contents.

OK I am wrong, can be accessed as labels but are not being shown as "Outbox" or "Trash" with its respective icons.

We have a couple of tickets for this: http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/6066 to configure special folders and http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/6070 to use SPECIAL-USE to determine them automatically. I'm not sure if your server is configured for SPECIAL-USE or not when you say "OSX/iOS" friendly.

Hi Jim, Yes it is just the request from 6066, this bug can be closed.

By the way, adding "name auto detection" would be nice. And if you add "@me.com" addresses the folders names will follow my request.
