This bug is (again) automatically report by Ubuntu. Not by me. I had a short glance that Software Updater while installing update, said intallation failed.

Sorry, I forgot some quotation marks in the debian/postinst file; this has been corrected in 13.05.28.1 which should be available from the PPA now

Thank you. Today update show some 'unsmoothness' (please see attached).
Nevertheless, updating in the end ends up with no problem report, only
standard: The software in this computer is up to date. Redo the updating
showed same result.

You're welcome. That issue has been fixed in the latest unstable build, which you can get from the PPA here: https://launchpad.net/~weather-indicator-team/+archive/unstable

Sorry for being impatient, but are you going to release the fixed version anytime soon to the stable channel? I wouldn't have complained if I was using an unstable build and the app was broken for this long, but I'm not.

I also tried your separate update script (upgrade-weather-indicator.py), but it didn't work.
