I uninstalled 13.05.28, hoping that would correct prior installation issues, updated and installed 13.05.28.1. 13.05.28.1 appeared to install, but would not open after installation. I tried logging out and rebooting. Neither cured the issue.

I am confirming this. I had indicator-weather previously installed, and tried to remove and reinstall it when I got this error the first time. That did not work.

My system specs: fully updated Ubuntu 13.04 x64, pf kernel 3.9.3.
