ooo-thumbnailer does not register .thumbnailer file

ooo-thumbnailer should register a file in /usr/share/thumbnailers/ooo-thumbnailer.thumbnailer describing the thumbnailer for nautilus 3+. GConf schemes have not been working for a long time.

I'm not sure if the patch is still required that is used in the PKGBUILD.

This thumbnailer file works fine for Mate's Caja (gnome2 clone).

Release 0.5 already contains a .thumbnailer file, and it gets installed properly.
