Bug Description
I have a media keyboard that provides Volume Up, Volume Down and Mute keys. They map to XF86AudioRaiseV
I have the suspicion that the key is caught by some other process and not passed on to kde for evaluation, but I am not sure.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Could you execute the command 'showkey' in a virtual terminal (tty1 through tty4) and report back what the results of pressing your mute button are? Thanks in advance.
