Bug Description
I am using Kubuntu Edgy on a Nexoc ES606 laptop.
FN+F3 gives me a OSD which says that sound is muted but it has no effect.
All the other FN keys are working just fine.
Output of xev, Mute Key pressed:
KeyRelease event, serial 28, synthetic NO, window 0x2600001,
root 0x5d, subw 0x0, time 1966259779, (586,763), root:(589,790),
state 0x0, keycode 160 (keysym 0x1008ff12, XF86AudioMute), same_screen YES,
XLookupString gives 0 bytes:
XFilterEvent returns: False

Can you open KMix application and press the Mute key and see which Output channel is being changed (Master, PCM, Headphone...)? Here it changes "Master" channel and this works properly.
Do you expect mute on speakers or headphone jack?
