Bug Description

I found the system impossible for selecting a package for this bug.

I was not able to access localhost:631. I think this may be a bug.

I found cupsd.conf had tne

 Listen /var/run/cups/cups.sock included twice

I needed to add

Listen localhost:631

(There was no problem in the 32bit version on my laptop}

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1181530/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.

Thanks but I do not need your DebuggingPrintingProblems wiki; I've solved
my printing problems by modifying cupsd.conf, as in my bug report.

Since /etc/cups/cupsd.conf is a file that can be changed by anyone with root permission, any idea what caused the double Listen line? Anyway Ubuntu 13.04 is no longer supported, did you still experience this problem in a supported 64 bit release?

If I put in Listen /var/run/cups/cups.sock included twice I have no problem accessing localhost:631 on Ubuntu 14.04. Please provide the cupsd.conf file/directive which causes the problem.
