Implement command line tab completion

It would be a great usability improvement if pressing the TAB key would reveal possible acitions and options on the command line while in the middle of typing a command.

I'd also find bash completion very useful. Especially regarding suggestions of time stamps.

Don't know about license though.

Bash completion files should be installed to:
/usr/share/bash-completion/completions/<program name>

For testing, you can create a ~/.bash_completion with the content of the upper link.

This is a really good idea for CLI users like me that can't remember all
the options.

Does anyone know how standard this location is across distributions?
