Switcher is not displayed when Alt-Tabbing when an unredirected full screen window is being displayed

Bug Description

When displaying a full screen window that is unredirected, such as Virtualbox or LibreOffice Impress, trying to Alt-Tab to a different window does not display the Switcher.

This is due to how unredirected full screen windows are handled. No compositing occurs which in turn disables any Unity elements from displaying on the screen.

I think this is a limitation since many users who are displaying a full screen window that is unredirected would want to Alt-Tab to a different window.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug. We have tried to recreate this on the latest release of Ubuntu and cannot reproduce it. This bug is being marked as Invalid. If you believe the problem to still exist in the latest version of Ubuntu please comment on why that is the case and change the bug status to NEW.”
