Sorry, this model name here, HP Pavilion Sleekbook 14, is the only model name that I can get.
I'll be happy to provide the full model name if there is any mean to get it.

Verified again on 201208-11466 with 12.04.2
(3.5.0-23 / 3.5.0-27 / 3.5.0-44)
it seems that the "unpredictable" brightness level change was caused by the slow response to brightness control of this system.

Also, it works fine on 3.5.0-44
Therefore, I will mark this bug as Invalid
