Use one extension type for configuration files

Bug Description

 -- this is something to have in the wishlist --

Currently I can see two extension types for config files:
1) ini
2) conf

In any case the files are INI files.

I think we should use one extension type only for config files.

This bug is > 172 days without activity. We are unsetting assignee and milestone and setting status to Incomplete in order to allow its expiry in 60 days.

If the bug is still valid, then update the bug status.
