System frozen

Happenned when I had Clementine, Fogger (Facebook) and Firefox opened. The system frozen (except for the pointer) of sudden - when I was hovering the mouse over the dock. It isn't the first time it happens. The keyboard turns unresponsive, only the pointer continues to work. But still I can't do anything about it, besides a hard reset on my notebook.

Also, every other times it happenned were when I had any music player running and hovered Plank.
