GtkTreeView's contents cannot be introspected

Bug Description
I can get handles to the GtkTreeViews which are present in my UI, but it seems that I cannot go beyond that:
- there isn't a "model" property which would give me access to the model data
- there isn't information about the row positions, so it's impossible to fake a mouse click on a specific row
