Bug Description

The same bug appears also in my glx dock, covering some icons. I use archlinux official repo version of compiz (0.8.8-4 with 0.8.8-2 plugins-main and 0.8.8-2 plugins-extra). I attached screencast of the bug.

Hi,
what's the icons that have this problem ?
Unfortunately, I think it's probably a bug in the drivers; which drivers are you using ?

The icons are submenu and sound control. I use x86_64 version of nvidia 313.26-2 with nvidia-utils 313.26-1, both from my distro repository.
Also, I have to add that this check have mysteriously disappeared after a reboot. I saw them on those icons just few minutes ago but now they're gone also from there (the dock is autohiding as you can see on the video). Is there any posibility that it's using compiz over lxde what causes this problem?

Compiz can work on any desktop, as the dock; I think it's more a problem
with the drivers, although I can't tell what exactly.

BTW check came back. Really odd.

Yes, it seems it's due to your video drivers.
Can you report this bug to Nvidia devs?
Do you have this bug only after some specific actions? (e.g. only after wake-up from suspend? after having updated or launched something?)

Yep, it happens after suspend.
Where can I report this bug? I haven't noticed anything what would look like appropriate NVidia drivers thread on Launchpad. NVidia website doesn't seem to have any place for the reports.

This bug has already been reported on nVidia forum but only about the corruption of icons in Cairo-Dock ( http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=2289131 ).
Note that there is also another website, it can be interesting to report this bug there too: https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/board/98/

Note that you can also use a workaround by launching a program at startup in order to relaunch the dock after wake-up from suspend: https://bugs.launchpad.net/cairo-dock-plug-ins/+bug/535065/comments/14

Flash also doesn't look good after suspend (vidio attached).
Another thing is that my computer doesn't 'see' then the devices I stuck into the USB port. they doesn't even appear in lsblk. So it could be kernel's fault, not or not only drivers'.
