If you're using i810, can you please test if switching to the -intel driver in Gutsy resolves this particular issue? If so, then the fix for 135141 will fix this bug as well.

I can also confirm this is still an issue. It's particularly annoying on the Netbook Remix, where Maximus forces the crash.

I understand from some googling that this is a bug in Xorg, possibly related to the Intel display driver (or it's setting).

I have an Acer Aspire 1410, and I get crashes (CGoban) after altering the window size, and /or maximizing. Might I marvel that it seems awfully odd that one would even consider closing this bug topic. It is a silly bug and should be fixed. I had the same issue 4 years ago on a toshiba and I forget what i did to fix it, yet I do know I fixed it.

Thank you for posting this bug.

In Maverick, installed it, opened it via Applications -> Games -> Cgoban, clicked "New Game" button, in new window clicked Ok button,
then tried to resize and app crashed. However, everytime after that I performed the same procedure it did not crash again. Marking as confirmed.
