Binary package hint: gnome-system-tools
I was pounding my head against a wall for a few hours trying to get my own lsb-conformant init.d-script listed in services-admin.
After a while, I discovered that services-admin uses a hardcoded list of supported services in src/common/
Thus, services-admin should keep a list of service either in a cache located in /var or it should scn /etc/init.d for script using lsb-conformant INIT INFO - comments.
Alternatively, a mechanism could be provided to register a new service to seervices-admin in a deb-postinst script. Such a mechanism supposedly should handle internationaliz
