Bug Description

In Ubuntu 12.10, Parcellite began working in Unity after the update manager updated it to version 1.0.2~rc5-1ubuntu1.

In 13.04, Parcellite is a later version, but doesn't work at all; I can see that the process is running, but no applet-indication-icon is on the top panel, so therefore there is no user interface to interact with said running process.

I tried reinstalling Ubuntu 13.04 beta and parcellite, and this did not bring back its indicator.

I also deleted all config files for parcellite. Nothing I've attempted has brought back the indicator.

I think I've tracked this down. parcellite seems to look for a process named "indicator-appmenu" to decide if it should display the indicator. That doesn't work in raring. Looking for "indicator-session-service" instead seems to fix the problem. Will upload a fix shortly...

I'm impressed at how quickly this fix made it to the update manager.

Now, the indicator shows up, but the clip history is not displayed after left-clicking the indicator.

Currently, both left-clicking and right-clicking do what I'd expect to see from right-clicking the indicator.

Left-clicking the indicator is supposed to show your clip-history. At first, I thought there may not be any clips in my clip-history, but after making serveral ctrl-c of text, the left-click menu continues to show the same context-menu as the right-clicking does.

Should I submit this behavior as a separate bug, or would you like to reevaluate how this fix could have possibly corrupted the expected behavior for the left-click-context-menu on the indicator?
