Bug Description
After changing the icon theme inkscape does not start anymore.
This happens specifically with the Vibrant icon theme found here: http://
I have tested a few other themes but they do not seem to give any issue.
Inkscape crashes at startup with error:
Emergency save activated!
Emergency save completed. Inkscape will close now.
If you can reproduce this crash, please file a bug at www.inkscape.org

importance: | Undecided → Medium |
Crash not reproduced with Inkscape 0.48.4 and current trunk r12841 on OS X 10.7.5 with 'Vibrant' icon theme downloaded today (Version 9.7 (July 2009), installed in '~/.icons' and used by Inkscape via gtkrc file (referenced by the env variable $GTK2_RC_FILES).
Inkscape stable and trunk launches and works ok (without crash), independent of whether the Gnome icon theme is currently installed or not ('Gnome' is the icon theme from which 'Vibrant' inherits config and icons which are not included with 'Vibrant' itself). If the 'Gnome' icon theme is not installed, the built-in stock icons (hicolor) are used instead.
