Bug Description

Binary package hint: iptables

Ubuntu server 7.04:

Ubuntu comes with the ipt_CLUSTERIP module. But it is impossible to use this module, as the iptables command does not support it.

root@vacuum4:~# iptables -A INPUT -j CLUSTERIP
iptables v1.3.6: Couldn't load target `CLUSTERIP':/lib/iptables/libipt_CLUSTERIP.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Workaround: Download the iptables source and compile your own binary with support for the CLUSTERIP target. The existing kernel module will work fine with this.

I'll look into the status of it and see if it's mature enough for inclusion.

  * patches/all/012-2.6.22-headers-fix.patch:
    + Fix FTBFS on gutsy due to renamed header files in linux-libc-dev.
      Patch taken from upstream svn (rev 6001). (LP: #120908)
  * iptables/extensions/.CLUSTERIP-test:
    + Fix CLUSTERIP detection code to reenable the module (it was accidentally
